Well. South by Southwest always causes a few new bands to pop up on my radar, and I can't help peeking when someone is from my old home town (at least they claim it) of Durham (rhymes with worm), North Carolina. The little town that has it all, you just have to know. So. Delta Rae. Not my usual cup of tea, and I'm slow to warm to some of the songs. But. There is some voodoo going on here, the holy shit factor. Excitement. Of course it turns out its major label, and that is their story on their own sites. Whatever. Brittany Hölljes is one of those singers. Of course, there's a sexy factor, and I know I'm not immune to that. But, if only I hear the voice, without the pictures, its still EXCITING. In real life you get both. Check this out...
No? OK Try this -
